The contractor was not present at the time of the assessment, I was informed which works had been completed by a gentleman carrying out painting and decorating duties. The project is almost at completion stage.
Project consists of external works and internal refurbishment. Externally a retaining wall has been built at the boundary with adjourning property where ground level is considerably lower than the project address using facing bricks and finished to a good standard.
Various internal works have also been completed including a new fully fitted kitchen and utility room, cupboards, worktops, sink unit & cooker etc. Walls and ceilings have all been re-plastered and decorated & tiled where required. New tile flooring has also been installed throughout. A separate WC has been refurbished consisting of new toilet, wash basin, re-plastered and painted walls & new tile flooring. All works that have been assessed are completed to a good standard.
The client Mr Wilson arrived home midway through the assessment and is happy with work done so far. He employed the contractor for this project as he has carried out work for him previously.
A small works contract was signed by both parties before works began.
